• Filtration Precision: Determine the appropriate filtration precision according to the application scenario and filtration requirements, usually expressed in microns (μm). The pore size of filter elements formed by copper powder with different meshes is different, and the corresponding filtration precision is also different. The larger the mesh number, the smaller the precision.
• Flow Rate Requirements: Consider the flow rate of the medium to be filtered to determine the size and porosity of the filter element, ensuring that the filter element can meet the flow requirements of the system and avoid blockage or excessive pressure loss.
• Working Pressure and Temperature: Clarify the pressure and temperature range that the filter element needs to withstand during work, and select appropriate copper powder materials and sintering processes to ensure that the filter element has sufficient strength and stability under working conditions without deformation, cracking or performance degradation.
• Corrosion Resistance Requirements: If the filtering medium is corrosive, it is necessary to consider surface treatment of the filter element or select copper alloy powder with corrosion resistance to prolong the service life of the filter element.
